While producing a film satisfies the creative urge of talented film-makers, we find that a vast majority of them are lost when it comes to showcasing their work, reaching out to a wider audience and last, but not the least, generating revenue from their films. We at www.1takemedia.com, chose to address this need by providing a platform for the independent & documentary filmmakers.

Presently we are distributing our library of over 500 short films and documentaries where we are offering a share @ 50 % of net revenues with the filmmakers.

We help film makers with services like censorship, sub titling, equipment and crew. Distribution tie ups.
Since we have economies of scale we have a PR and advertising team who are promoting these films in various festivals. Our representative visited CANNES this year offering our films. We are already in negotiation with TV channels in Central Europe etc.

As a start, we have a dedicated partner channel on You Tube – www.youtube.com/1takemedia. By virtue of a special agreement with YouTube, we are able to monetize through video views and advertisements on the channel. 50% of the net revenue is then shared with the film maker. We have entered into similar agreements with other portals, announcements for which will be made shortly.

Why should you go through our channel and not upload your film on YouTube and other internet channels directly?
Being a channel partner of YouTube we have an arrangement with them which enables us to monetize whenever the films on our channel are viewed and through the ads on our channel. Similar revenue share arrangements have been made with other video portals which will multiply the viewership and in-turn the revenue share for the film maker.We allow films of all lengths and file size on our channel. This facility is not allowed to all individuals and channels.
